The brand is heavily dependent on customers ordering more than one product. However on the front-end the quantity discounting logic and interface was confusing and not intuitive for visitors.

PHASE 1:

Research Report

Research is the cornerstone of our process. Through extensive research we identified over a dozen test hypotheses. Here are the tools we used in our research

Some of the key areas of improvement we identified were:

  • Quantity discount app working inconsistently
  • Slide cart being underutilized
  • Confusion between how products differentiated 

PHASE 2:

A/B Test

The data told us that the quantity discount logic was creating friction in the customer journey. We created a variation where the customers are more inclined to purchase a larger quantity due to an easier to understand design.

Validating the hypothesis

To validate the hypothesis we monitored conversion rate and ARPU over the course of a few weeks.
